Instagram scrapers on Apify compared: what 1,000 results cost on your plan

Every price below was read from each Actor's public pricing on 2026-10-15, for each Apify plan. Most Instagram Actors on Apify get cheaper on paid plans, so the right pick depends on your plan as much as on the Actor. We make two of these, so we've tried to be exact about where the others are better.

Reel transcripts, per started minute

One thousand 30-second reels with transcripts cost $5.90 here on the Free plan and $50.60 with apify/instagram-reel-scraper. The reel transcript comparison adds four more transcript tools.

Worked examples

For plain post metadata at volume, apidojo is far cheaper than both of us. Ours costs more per row because comments, Instagram's AI summaries and view counts are included in it.

What each one does that the others don't

• apify/instagram-scraper, per its README: comment replies on paid plans, posts that mention a profile, and Instagram's search for profiles, places and hashtags by keyword. It also has by far the most users.
• apify/instagram-comment-scraper: reply threads, with its includeNestedComments option on paid plans.
• apify/instagram-profile-scraper: an "About account" add-on (the date an account joined and its country) at $0.007 per profile on Free.
• apidojo/instagram-scraper: about $0.50 per 1,000 posts, tagged-post and keyword URLs. Its README asks for at least 10 posts per query and limits Free-plan users to 5 runs a month of 10 items each.
• Ours: no login at all; every public comment on a post (up to about 4,800), sorted by likes and filtered by keyword, likes or date before billing; transcripts at $0.004 per started minute; Instagram's own AI summary per post; monitor mode that returns only new posts and comments. What no logged-out scraper can get

Ours never logs in, so these are out of reach for it, as for any logged-out tool: follower and following lists, who liked a post, stories and highlight contents, and the email and call buttons of business profiles. Hashtags and keywords return Instagram's public top posts, typically up to about 60, and locations about 70. If you need replies or tagged posts, the apify Actors above list them.

Which one should you pick?

• apidojo for the lowest price on plain post rows at volume, on a paid Apify plan.
• apify for replies, mentions, keyword search for profiles and places, and the longest track record.
• Yugenox for comments at depth with filters before billing, transcripts, AI summaries in the row, and no session to manage. See also the Graph API alternative if you're coming from Meta's API.
