Workday jobs as an API: every open job on a company's Workday career sites

Type an employer's name or paste its Workday career-site link and get every open job as a row: title, department, location, country, workplace type, posting date, description and the apply link. Big boards come back complete, past the 2,000 jobs Workday shows. $1.50 per 1,000 jobs on every Apify plan, with no login or API key.

Is there a Workday jobs API?

Not one you can use across employers. Workday's developer documentation is about building on a Workday tenant: you register an API client and authenticate to that one employer's Workday (developer.workday.com, read October 6, 2026). Those APIs belong to each customer, need its credentials and aren't a public job search. What every employer does publish is its Workday career site, open to any visitor. This Actor reads those career sites, along with boards on Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Phenom, Workable, Recruitee, BambooHR, Jobvite, Breezy HR, Personio and Rippling, and returns one row per job in the same format for all of them.

What a Workday career site looks like

A Workday career site lives at an address like https://acme.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/External (some use https://wd3.myworkdaysite.com/recruiting/<company>/<site>). Open any job on an employer's careers page; if the link goes to myworkdayjobs.com, paste it into companies. A link with the site's own search or filters in it (?q=) returns only what that search returns.

You can also just type the employer's name. A built-in directory of about 1,400 large employers (Fortune 1000, TSX and well-known tech companies; 1,410 in the directory file built 2026-09-27) answers instantly, and for those employers every public career site is read: FedEx has 12. Other names are looked up on the company's careers page and on each applicant tracking system, and a board found by name has to name the company itself; a weaker match is used only with a note in the run saying so. If nothing trustworthy turns up, you get one free error row saying what to paste instead.

Full boards past Workday's 2,000-job stop

A Workday career site stops showing results after 2,000 jobs. The Actor splits a big site into smaller searches and merges them, so the whole board comes back: NVIDIA's returned 2,655 of 2,655 in the README's test, about two minutes for a board that size. At $0.0015 per job that whole board costs $3.98.

Only the countries you want

Put country codes or names in countries (CA, US, Germany). A job counts when any of its locations is in one of them, remote jobs count when their region covers the country, and everything else is dropped before it is saved, so you are never charged for it. Big employers' career sites for other regions are skipped entirely: a FedEx search for Canada reads 2 of its 12 Workday sites. Every row carries jobCountry, the country it was counted in.

One row per job

FieldWhat it holds
company, title, department, teamWho is hiring and for what
location, allLocations, country, jobCountryWhere, including every location of a multi-location job
workplaceType, employmentTypeOn-site, hybrid or remote (empty when the board doesn't say), and full-time, contract and so on
createdAt, requisitionIdWhen the job was posted, and the employer's requisition number when published
jobUrl, applyUrlThe posting and the apply link on the employer's own site
descriptionPlain or descriptionHtmlThe full description, as you choose with includeDescription

Workday's job lists carry titles and locations only, so dates and descriptions are read job by job; set includeDescription to none with no filters to trade them for speed. The salary columns are filled where a company publishes pay on Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Recruitee or Rippling, or as pay text on BambooHR and Breezy; for Workday jobs, don't count on them and read the description instead.

Every day, only what changed

monitorMode turns a scheduled run into a change feed: the first run saves every current job as new (the baseline), and later runs save only jobs that appeared (new, with firstSeenAt) or closed (removed, with removedDetectedAt). A job is reported as removed only after its board was read completely and the job itself is gone, so a temporary outage never looks like a wave of closed jobs. The hiring signals guide has a copy-paste daily setup.

What it costs

Per 1,000 jobs, from each Actor's pricing on 2026-10-15. jobo.world also charges $0.00005 per run; ours has no start fee.
ActorFreeStarterScaleBusiness
yugenox/ats-jobs-scraper$1.50$1.50$1.50$1.50
fantastic-jobs/workday-jobs-api$2.00$2.00$1.20$1.20
jobo.world/ats-jobs-api$4.00$3.10$2.20$1.30

NVIDIA's full board is $3.98. Fifty Workday employers with about 300 open jobs each is 15,000 jobs, $22.50 for the first full pull; after that, monitor runs bill only the jobs that changed. On the Scale and Business plans fantastic-jobs is cheaper per job than we are ($1.20 per 1,000), and so is jobo.world on Business ($1.30). fantastic-jobs' listing also describes AI and LinkedIn company enrichment with up to 60 fields per job; if that is what you need, try it. For years of past postings rather than today's boards, see the job-posting data providers.

What it can't read

Employers that post jobs on Oracle, SuccessFactors, iCIMS, Taleo and Avature, or on their own sites (Amazon, Google, Apple), are named in the run with where their jobs live, as a free error row. Nothing is charged for them.

Ask for it from ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor

The ATS Jobs Scraper works as a tool in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and VS Code through Apify's hosted MCP server. Add this URL as a custom connector and sign in with your Apify account; runs bill to that account. Then ask in plain English, for example "list the open data engineering jobs at Nvidia and Thomson Reuters in Canada and the US".

Run it from code

Two employers by name, jobs in Canada and the US with "data" in the title, at most 50 each: at most 100 jobs, $0.15.

JavaScript
// Save as run.mjs, then: npm i apify-client && APIFY_TOKEN=... node run.mjs
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';

const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });

const run = await client.actor('yugenox/ats-jobs-scraper').call({
  companies: [
    "Nvidia",
    "Thomson Reuters"
  ],
  countries: [
    "US",
    "CA"
  ],
  keywords: [
    "data"
  ],
  maxJobsPerCompany: 50
});

const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
for (const item of items) console.log(item.company, item.title, item.location, item.applyUrl);

Questions people ask

Is there a public Workday API for job postings?

No public one across employers. Workday's APIs serve each customer's own tenant and need that employer's credentials. Every employer's Workday career site is public, and that is what this Actor reads.

How do I find a company's Workday URL?

Open any job on the company's careers page. If the address or the Apply button goes to myworkdayjobs.com or myworkdaysite.com, paste that link. Or type the company name and let the directory find its career sites.

Why do I get more jobs than the 2,000 Workday shows?

Workday stops listing at 2,000 results. The Actor splits large sites into smaller searches and merges them, so a 2,655-job board comes back complete.

Does it return salaries for Workday jobs?

Don't count on it. Structured pay comes from Lever, Greenhouse, Ashby, Recruitee and Rippling, and pay text from BambooHR and Breezy. For Workday jobs, the description is in every row.

Can I run it every day?

Yes. Schedule it on Apify with monitorMode on: the first run is the baseline, and later runs save only new and removed jobs, so you pay for the changes.

Is it legal to scrape Workday career sites?

The Actor reads only public job postings that employers publish for anyone to see, with no login. Descriptions can name a recruiter, which is personal data, so follow GDPR, PIPEDA or CCPA where they apply and each site's terms, and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.
