Privacy policy
This policy covers the Yugenox Data website, the Yugenox Custom GPT and MCP connectors described here, and our role as developer of the YouTube and Instagram Actors and the Realtor.ca Property Scraper on Apify. Effective 26 September 2026; updated 6 October 2026 to cover Realtor.ca listing data.

Who we are
Yugenox Corporation ("Yugenox", "we") is a software company in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where they apply, other privacy laws such as the GDPR.
This website
- The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- It is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. We don't use these logs to identify visitors.
- The calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.
The Yugenox Custom GPT and MCP connectors
When you use the Yugenox Custom GPT in ChatGPT, or connect our Actors to an AI assistant through Apify's MCP server, your AI provider sends the parameters needed to run an Actor (for example a channel name, a search term or an Instagram link) to the Apify API, which you have authorised with your own Apify account. Your conversation stays with your AI provider, and we don't receive it. OpenAI, Anthropic or your other AI provider processes your chats under its own policy, and Apify processes the runs under its policy.
Running our Actors on Apify
- Runs happen in your Apify account. Your inputs and results are stored in your Apify storage, under Apify's privacy policy and your own retention settings.
- As the Actor developer, we receive the usage and billing information that Apify makes available to developers. We use it to bill correctly, provide support and improve the Actors, and for nothing else.
- If you turn on transcripts in the Instagram Actor, the reel's public audio is sent to Google's Gemini API for speech-to-text under Google's API terms; we don't keep the audio or the transcript.
- We never receive your payment details. Apify handles billing.
- If you share a run with us when asking for help on the Issues tab, we look at it only to fix your problem.
Data the Actors collect about other people
The Actors collect only data that YouTube, Instagram and REALTOR.ca show publicly to logged-out visitors. Some of it, such as usernames, channel names, comments, contact details people publish in their bios and the agent contact details on Realtor.ca listings, is personal data. We don't keep a copy: results go to the Apify account that ran the Actor, and that account holder decides what to do with them. If you use the Actors, you are responsible for having a lawful basis for processing, for honouring the rights of the people in your data, and for following anti-spam laws such as CASL and CAN-SPAM when you contact anyone.
If you believe data about you was collected with our Actors, the person who ran the Actor holds it and can delete it. You can also ask us for help through the channel below, and we will explain how the data was collected.
Realtor.ca listing data
The Realtor.ca Property Scraper reads the public listing results that REALTOR.ca shows any visitor without an account. Each listing row includes the listing agents' names and phone numbers, with their REALTOR.ca agent IDs and brokerages, as brokerages publish them on REALTOR.ca. That is business contact information, published so clients can reach the agent. It still identifies real people, so it is personal data too.
- The Actor never signs in to REALTOR.ca and doesn't use a DDF® or MLS® feed.
- It writes each listing to the dataset of the Apify account that ran it and doesn't send the rows anywhere else. We don't keep a copy.
- It doesn't collect agent email addresses. REALTOR.ca doesn't publish them.
- It reads REALTOR.ca live each time it runs, so a listing or contact detail that is changed or removed there doesn't appear in later runs. Rows already exported stay with whoever ran the Actor, as above.
- The sample rows on this site use a made-up agent, brokerage and phone number. This site publishes no real agent's details.
If you run it, the responsibilities in the section above apply to these rows as well.
The creator check tool
If we switch on the free creator check tool on this site, the account name you enter is sent to Apify to run our Actor with a small cost cap, and the public result is cached for up to 24 hours so repeat checks are fast. To prevent abuse, we keep a count of checks per IP address for the current day, stored as a one-way hash, and delete it after 24 hours. The tool is off by default.
Children
This site and our Actors are for businesses, researchers and developers. They are not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and the text on this page. Material changes will also be noted on the Actors' Store pages.
Contact
For privacy questions or requests, open an issue on the YouTube Scraper, Instagram Scraper or Realtor.ca Property Scraper Issues tab. If your question involves personal information you don't want to post publicly, write only "privacy request" in the issue and we'll arrange a private channel.
Questions people ask
Does this website track me?
No. There are no cookies, analytics or ad scripts. Our host keeps standard server logs to deliver pages and stop abuse.
Does Yugenox see my ChatGPT or Claude conversations?
No. Only the Actor input your assistant sends to Apify leaves your AI provider, and it goes to your own Apify account.
Where are my scraping results stored?
In your own Apify account's storage, under Apify's privacy policy and your retention settings. We don't keep a copy.
How do I make a privacy request?
Open an issue on any of these Actors' Issues tabs and write "privacy request". We will set up a private channel.
I'm a real estate agent. Why are my name and phone in Realtor.ca listing data?
Because your brokerage publishes them on your listings on REALTOR.ca, where any visitor can see them, and the Realtor.ca Property Scraper returns what REALTOR.ca shows. We don't keep a copy: whoever ran the Actor holds their results. A change or removal on REALTOR.ca carries into later runs. For help, open an issue on the Realtor.ca Property Scraper's Issues tab and write "privacy request".
